It is with great pleasure, that I am writing this letter of support and recommendation for Lee Simmons of the Sea Pines Real Estate group.

We worked with Lee to purchase our new home in Hilton Head Island almost one year ago. Our immediate and extended families had been coming to HHI for more than a decade and we decided it was time to make our move to begin the next phase of our life's journey and establish new roots in South Carolina.

Not only did Lee help us find our dream home - not easy given the tight real estate - but she was great at walking us through and managing every step of the process from inspections, to financing, to insurance, to banking- all with unflappable poise and grace to close without a hitch.

Through this process, Lee became more than our agent. She became our friend and first source of information for anything "HHI" related. Given her own journey, Lee knows so much about the Island, the places and the people. She is our first source for recommendations for restaurants for special occasions, stay at home pet sitters, interior decorators, and out of the way places that only the locals know. She has never steered us the wrong way.

We have moved more than twelve times over 33 years of being together. The fastest way we met people previously was through our four wonderful children, the local school, and work. Being empty nesters and working remotely, our biggest concern was how would we find a way to make HHI our new home for the future. We were introduced to Lee Simmons through a mutual friend to assist us with finding a home in Hilton Head. It has to be one of the best introductions I have ever had. Lee was the ultimate professional. She started at the macro level working with my wife to identify the communities that best served our wants and desires and really took the time to tour us around the entire island to carefully explain the idiosyncrasies of the different residential areas. When we narrowed down the desired communities, she patiently worked with us to define our specific residential needs and specifications as well as price range and what work we would be willing to do in any targeted house etc. She then went to work on identifying homes that fell within our price range and met our needs.

The biggest compliment I could make of Lee is that she never showed us a house that was outside of something we found interest in and then within a short time period narrowed down the possibilities to eventually the house we made an offer on and purchased that met all our needs and desires. Due to her property knowledge after 20 plus years on the island the transaction process was well managed, the introductions made to the third part professional were excellent which combined all resulted in one of the smoothest transactions I have experienced and I am in commercial real estate!

However, the most important comment I have to make to anyone considering a real estate agent in Hilton Head and why they should choose Lee without hesitation is NOT just Lee's phenomenal knowledge and professionalism BUT the absolute delight of dealing with her as a person. She always had a smile, genuinely cared about what we were feeling, and has a personality and charisma that puts everyone at ease at what is a stressful time when trying to buy a house in new area I cannot recommend her highly enough. She started as an agent and my wife and I are now pleased to now call her a friend!

I have used Lorri Lewis for multiple transactions on Hilton Head Island. I can strongly recommend her as she is very professional, responsive and knowledgeable regarding the market. Being an out of state owner/buyer/seller I relied on Lorrie's ability to recommend and judgment with respect to the various vendors required for these types of transactions; they were always professional, timely and their fees reasonable. Lorrie went above and beyond at times working with the management company to schedule repairs and inspections of the property. She is truly a partner in the process.
